1. Services
Hardakers Removals & Storage provides removal, storage, and packing services as described on this website and in our quotations. All services are subject to these terms and the BAR (British Association of Removers) standard conditions of carriage.
2. Quotations
Quotes provided are valid for 30 days from issue. Prices are based on the information provided to us. If the actual volume or circumstances differ significantly from what was described, we reserve the right to adjust the price before commencing work. All quotes include VAT where applicable.
3. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a signed acceptance and any required deposit. Payment terms will be detailed in your quotation. Final payment is due on or before the day of the move unless otherwise agreed.
4. Insurance
We carry comprehensive goods-in-transit insurance and public liability insurance. Full details of cover and any exclusions are provided with your quotation. Extended cover is available for high-value items.
5. Cancellation
Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations more than 14 days before the move date incur no charge. Cancellations within 14 days may be subject to a cancellation fee as detailed in your booking confirmation.
6. Liability
Our liability for loss or damage is governed by the BAR standard conditions. We take every precaution to protect your belongings, but certain exclusions apply (e.g., items not packed by us, inherent defects, perishable goods). Full details are available on request.
7. Storage
Storage charges are billed weekly in advance. We require reasonable notice for retrieval from storage. Items remain in storage at the customer's risk beyond the scope of our standard insurance cover.
